Parma police make another arrest in the Chuck E. Cheese brawl

PARMA, OH (WOIO) - have arrested of another person they say was involved in the March 8, 2015 attack on several employees at the W. Ridgewood Drive Chuck E. Cheese Restaurant. Police have arrested 22-year-old Jahmeel Rashad Green of Parkmount Avenue in Cleveland. He was living near San Diego, California.

Green turned himself in Tuesday morning and is currently being held in the Parma jail on a $25,000 bond. He's charged with felonious assault and aggravated riot.

On Sunday, March 8, 2015 at approximately 7:12 p.m., the Parma Police Department received several 911 calls about a disturbance inside of the restaurant. When PPD officers arrived, they discovered that several employees of the business had been attacked and injured by a group of men who were attending a birthday party there. All of the alleged offenders fled the scene before the police arrived.

Officers learned that the attack on the employees allegedly started when a woman attending the party complained to store employees about a photo booth machine that was not working. A manager reportedly told her she would have to wait. It was at this time one of the males from the birthday party followed the manager into the kitchen area of the restaurant, threatened to kill him and then suddenly attacked him. The manager was beaten and struck on the face and head. Other employees intervened to help their manager and were then attacked by a group of other patrons from the birthday party.

Portions of the attack on the employees took place in the kitchen and the main area of the restaurant in view of customers and children. A total of six employees were injured, including two who were seriously injured.

Parma Police have also charged four other individuals in connection with this incident.
