Cleveland Cavaliers GM David Griffin believes surgery for Kevin Love is a possibility.
Griffin made the comment at a news conference Tuesday afternoon. If Love does undergo surgery, it is believed that he is basically done for the season. Just yesterday Cleveland said Love would only miss the next round of the playoffs.
The Cavaliers forward sustained a left shoulder dislocation during the first quarter of Sunday's game in Boston vs. the Celtics. Celtics forward Kelly Olynyk hurt Love by grabbing and pulling on his arm during the game.
Olynyk was called for a foul and later suspended for one game by the NBA. He will serve his suspension in the first game of the 2015-2016 regular season.
Love is still getting medical advice.
