Jurors in the trial of the "Early Morning Rapist" have found James Daniel guilty after a short deliberation.

Jurors received Daniel's case on Tuesday, after about a week and a half of testimony. Both rape victims courageously took the stand and identified Daniel as the man who stalked, beat and raped them.

The 33-year-old is charged with raping a woman in Lakewood on Aug. 31, 2014. Surveillance video caught him attacking another female jogger before raping her in Cleveland on Sept. 2, 2014.

Both Cleveland and Lakewood police departments noticed similarities in the attacks and quickly connected the cases.

Daniel was on parole for robbery at the time of the rapes.

Daniel's trial started in February, but had to be stopped when Daniel appeared for opening arguments with feces all over himself. The trial was then delayed as Daniel underwent a 20-day psych evaluation.

After the verdict, the judge denied a defense request to send Daniel to a court psychiatric clinic, sourcing a taped conversation Daniel had with his brother that showed he is sane. The judge also said the feces incident and fake suicide attempts were only used to paint a picture of mental illness.

Daniel remains locked up on a $750,000 bond.
