Man who molested daughters gets two life terms
CLEVELAND - A former Cleveland man has been sentenced to two consecutive life prison terms for molesting his two daughters more than a decade ago.
Kevin Dominic had disappeared in 1993, leaving behind a fake suicide note, and was on the run until authorities caught up with him in Florida last year.
He was convicted in December of gross sexual imposition, felonious penetration and rape in incidents involving his daughters, then ages 9 and 11.
The 44-year-old Dominic chose not to speak at his sentencing in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.
But his ex-wife and his daughters did, stammering through painful statements. One daughter told him about the recurring nightmares she has endured.
