On Sunday, September 13, Black on Black Crime Inc will hold a vigil to highlight domestic violence in the wake of a Cleveland woman being beaten to the point of brain death.
One week ago Cleveland Police say Theresa "Dazy" Adair, 34, suffered critical head injuries at the hands of her boyfriend Carlton Springer. He is accused of attacking Adair inside her apartment.
Days later Adair was taken off life support at Metrohealth Medical Center and her family donated her organs.
Her family will have a candlelight vigil at her childhood home at 11705 Gay Ave at 7:30 p.m.
A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Springer, who is still on the loose.
Anyone with more information is urged to call Cleveland Police at (216) 621-1234 or CMHA Police at (216) 426-7760.
A GoFundMe account has been created for funeral arrangements.
