Cyclist identified in deadly Brecksville crash

BRECKSVILLE, OH (WOIO) - Brecksville Police have identified the man killed in a deadly crash Thursday night.
Police say 33-year-old Matthew Billings of North Canton was with a group of bicyclists who were struck by a pick-up shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Snowville and Dewey roads.
Witnesses said a group of eight were bicycling eastbound on Snowville Road when five were hit. One person was killed, four others were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center. Their conditions were not released.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene, according to the Brecksville Fire Department.
There was no immediate word if any charges will be filed.
