Necklace found at deadly crash site in Madison Township

Necklace recovered from deadly Richland County crash

MADISON TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - A Mansfield woman who found a necklace at the site of deadly car crash hopes to track down a relative of one of the victims.

The  Sunday early morning crash killed three people. Police say a car driven by 21-year-old Steven Foley lost control, left the road, struck trees and caught fire in Alice Grave's yard. Foley and his passengers, 24-year-old Corrine Coleman and 20-year-old Zachary Lawson were killed.

Graves, who lives on Illinois Avenue. found a necklace in her flowers.

The Richland County woman believes it belongs to Coleman and would like it be returned to Coleman's mother.

Another occupant Brandon W. Moore, 22, of Mansfield, Ohio was transported by Madison Township EMS to Mansfield Ohio Health Hospital. Moore was the only occupant wearing a safety belt.

Officials believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
