President Obama to attend the Cavs game
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - President Barack Obama is in Chicago Tuesday to discuss criminal justice issues at a conference of police chiefs but tonight all signs point to the Commander in Chief to be sitting courtside at the United Center.
Numerous published reports say the President will be there watching the Cavs take on his hometown Chicago Bulls in the NBA Season Opener.
LeBron James even mentioned it at Tuesday morning's shootaround.
"He loves the game of basketball, we all know that. It's an honor for me to be a part of a venue and a spectacle that the president's come to watch. It's an honor for sure," said LeBron James.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are the current Eastern Conference Champions. Chicago is expected to be their biggest competition in the east.
