CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The incident happened in the 3000 block of W. 117th Street and was reported by the Lakewood Police.
When Cleveland officers arrived they met with Lakewood Police who said the 24-year-old victim had been taken to Lakewood Hospital in a private vehicle.
At the hospital, the victim told police he was visiting from Orlando, Florida and was attending a birthday party at the Lido Lounge.
While outside in the parking lot area, he says he became involved in an argument with another man over the difference in strip clubs in Ohio and Florida.
The argument escalated into a physical altercation, and the suspect, "MIke", then shot the victim and fled in an unknown vehicle.
The victim suffered a gun shot wound to the left thigh.
Cleveland Police say this matter will be further investigated.
