DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The next time you start to clean out your lint trap STOP! There something more you can do with those little fine fibers of cloth.

Cleveland artist, Sandy Buffie of Sandy Buffie Designs, has collected 30 gallons of dryer lint to sculpt The Donald's likeness, and it's all for a good cause.

"For the RNC I created a dryer lint sculpture of Donald Trump and I'm hoping to auction it off by the end of the week to raise money for the Center of Arts-Inspired Learning, a non-profit agency in Cleveland to keep art in schools," said Buffie.

Buffie starts each project with her own lint but since it takes at least 30 gallons, she said she reached out for help.

"I put a call out on social media and people start bringing it by. They drop it off at the door, they mail it to me or they bring it in. In a week's time I can easily get 50 people's dryer lint," added Buffie.

Buffie said she started out small and has been creating with dryer lint for more than 20 years.

The Donald bust, along with others, are on display in her gallery at the 5th Street Arcades at 530 Euclid Ave.

She also created a lint LeBron and lint Johnny Depp and will be setup once the RNC wraps up.

"We have hand-crafted items that are one-of-a-kind, kind of on a nicer level. I think people will tire of buying bobble heads and t-shirts and want a nice souvenir and they'll come in and find us," Buffie said.

Buffie has a bid for $1,100 for her puffy Donald and she hopes the amount will increase by the end of the week.

Once Donald is auctioned off, she plans to focus on LeBron James. She has a message, asking James to come in an autograph the bust, which would bring in more money for the arts.

"Please Mr. LeBron come in here and sign your bust so we can raise money to help keep art in schools!" Buffie pleaded.
