CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Transportation Security Administration officials are preparing for a large number of travelers to leave the Cleveland on Thursday.
A projected 18,000 passengers are expected to depart from Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport, 30 percent more than an average day there.
Thursday marks the final day of the Republican National Convention.
TSA is opening the security screening lines at 3 a.m. Friday, instead of the normal 4 a.m. They will also have extra K-9 officers on hand.
TSA officials suggest passengers should get to the airport two hours before their flight leaves.
