CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A 60-year-old man was shot after arguing with a friend about presidential politics, police said.

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. Monday at Winston's Place on East 131st Street.

Police said Paul Jones and another man were arguing on the patio. The two were separated. Jones was brought into the bar. Police said the suspect came into the bar through the front door and started tussling with the victim, then shot him.

Jones was shot in the thigh. The 45-year-old suspect left after the shooting in a white Cadillac truck, police said.

Jones was taken to University Hospitals for treatment.
