CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Chipotle may be known for their burritos and bowls, but the restaurant is looking to get into the burger business with a new restaurant concept opening this fall in Lancaster, OH.
The restaurant, called Tasty Made, will focus on classic burgers, fries and milkshakes using "high-quality ingredients that are grown and raised with respect for the animals, the land and the farmers who produce them," according to the press release from co-CEO Steve Ells.
The new restaurant isn't the first time that Chipotle has branched out into new types of cuisine— the chain also has an Asian food chain called ShopHouse with 15 locations and an Italian food chain called Pizzeria Locale with five locations. All of Chipotle's spin-off restaurants follow the "Chipotle model" of allowing customers to build their own meals.
