Browns trade cornerback Justin Gilbert to Pittsburgh

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Cleveland  Browns have traded former first-round pick Justin Gilbert to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 2018 sixth-round pick.

The Browns now own Philadelphia's 2017 first-round pick, Tennessee's 2017 second-round pick, New England's 2017 fifth-round pick, Philadelphia's 2018 second-round pick, Carolina's 2018 fourth-round pick and Pittsburgh's 2018 sixth-round pick. Cleveland has conditionally surrendered a 2017 fourth- or fifth-round pick to Philadelphia and a 2017 sixth- or seventh-round pick to San Francisco.

The Browns selected Gilbert and quarterback Johnny Manziel in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft.

Gilbert appeared in 23 games with three starts. He totaled 33 tackles, nine passes defensed, one interception and one defensive touchdown.
