A Michigan barber is trying to empower his young customers by giving them a discount if they read to him.
Ryan Griffin runs the Fuller Cut barber shop in Ypsilanti, Michigan. At the store, kids that read to Griffin either get $2 off their haircut or get $2 handed to them.
Griffin provides books for the kids to read themselves, but he also gets a lot of donations. If he ends up with extras, he donates them to other barbershops so they can start up a reading program.
If you want to donate a book, you can send it to: Mr. Ryan Griffin, The Fuller Cut, 207 Ecorse Rd., Ypsilanti, MI 48198-5716.
