Pizza delivery man shot in attempted robbery

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A pizza delivery man was shot in a robbery attempt on Saturday.
Melvin Wells, 55, was delivering a pizza to 2201 W. 93rd St., at the West Tech Lofts, when he was approached by a suspect with a gun while walking back to his car.
The suspect demanded money. Wells kicked him in the chest before the suspect shot him in the leg. The suspect then fled the area on foot without any of Wells' property.
The suspect is a black male who is tall and thin with a light complexion. He was wearing all dark clothing.
No arrests have been made. Detectives are investigating.
