Police: Suspects break into doctor's office, perform medical procedure

BATH TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - Police are investigating a break-in at a doctor's office in Bath Township where the suspects appeared to conduct some sort of medical procedure.

The break-in happened at the University Hospitals Ghent Family Practice at 3535 Granger Rd. on Oct. 10.

Police say the suspects entered the back door with a key and turned off the alarm panel.

Evidence was collected from the medical procedure room.

"UH's Ghent Family Practice management team learned earlier this month about unauthorized access to the practice facility," UH said in a statement. "The police along with UH management are actively investigating what happened during this incident. The safety of our patients and employees is a high priority for UH. UH is cooperating fully with local authorities to learn more and ensure the safety of this practice."

No arrests have been made.
