Indians' Cody Anderson expected to be ready for regular season after elbow injury

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Indians relief pitcher Cody Anderson underwent an arthroscopic debridement of his right elbow Wednesday in Dallas.
Anderson was seen at the end of the season for discomfort in his recurrent posterior right elbow. He was diagnosed with impingement in the back of the elbow joint.
The diagnosis was confirmed by Dr. Keith Meister at TMI Sports Medicine in Dallas on Wednesday prior
Anderson is expected to begin a throwing program in eight weeks and should be ready for the start of the 2017 regular season.
