CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A crowd protesting President-elect Donald J. Trump worked its way through downtown Cleveland on Friday.
The group gathered at Public Square around 5 p.m., and returned to Public Square by 8 p.m.
Around 7 p.m. the group passed the Playhouse Square/Cleveland State area.
"The main purpose is to establish a protest and activism culture. I don't think its strong enough in Cleveland. Cleveland is back on the map, so we've got to stay on the map. Anytime Trump or his administration does anything diabolical or disastrous, we will be out here we will be in the streets. Our voice will be heard," said protest organizer Marty Krebs.
Many in attendance brought signs and megaphones to voice their opinions about Trump, who ran as a Republican.
Below is video from the march:
Police say the protest ended peacefully.
