Class teaches blind people self-defense
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Many of us get scared when walking alone, but imagine being blind and having to walk by yourself.
The Cleveland Sight Center hosted a two-day class on self defense for the blind community. The class helps these students realize they can use their walking cane and other personal belongings to protect themselves from an attacker.
More than two dozen people attended this class that got underway Monday and Tuesday.
