CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A 61-year-old woman was killed and her 17-year-old grandson was shot by the woman's husband on Thursday, police say.
Officers responded to a shooting at 13412 Crennell Ave. around 1 p.m. When they arrived on the scene, they found Jessica Marie Thompson, 61, with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. She died on scene.
Her 17-year-old grandson was found with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was transported by EMS for treatment.
Police say the suspect, Charles Moon, 51, fled in the woman's car after getting in an argument with her and shooting her and her grandson. Police say the grandson had recently moved into the home that Moon and Thompson shared.
Moon later turned himself in to Euclid police.
