Summer on the Cuyahoga hoping to keep college grads in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Summer on the Cuyahoga is an internship program that gives college students the opportunity to take part in a paid internship at more than 30 Northeast Ohio businesses.

Some of the businesses that take part in Summer on the Cuyahoga include the Cleveland Museum of Art, BioEnterprise, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

This year, 70 students are taking part in the 10-week program, hailing from 17 states and six foreign countries.

Seven schools take part in the internship program including Case Western Reserve, Colgate, Cornell, Denison, Ohio Wesleyan, Smith, and the University of Chicago.

Not only do the students get to take part in a paid internship they get free housing and also get the chance to explore Cleveland.
