The airline will connect flights to hubs in Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Orlando.
City officials are excited about the announcement, including Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson.
"United's decision to boost service is a valuable investment in our city," Jackson said.
The airline will begin a number of their adjustments just in time for the holiday season.
Beginning in September, United will increase their services to twice-daily year round service between Cleveland and Los Angeles and San Francisco and will add a sixth daily flight to Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport beginning October 28, 2018.
The airline also announced it will increase services between Cleveland and Orlando with a second Saturday flight beginning November 3, 2018.
United will begin seasonal winter service for customers traveling between Cleveland and Fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers, Florida on December 19, 2018.
