100 for Hospice: Local man plays 100 holes of golf for a cause

MEDINA, OH (WOIO) - The 10th annual "100 for Hospice" fundraising event is set to get underway Monday morning.

The event created by Medina businessman Pat Spoerndle and will take place at Fox Meadow Country Club in Medina on Aug. 6.

Spoerndle is the president of the trade show marketing firm 7D Marketing.

He is expected to play 100 holes in a single day to raise money for local hospice families.
