CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Most kids get excited for their first day of school, but one Ohio teacher is trying to make the day more magical than ever before for her students.

Morgan Kurtz, an intervention specialist at Charles Huber Elementary School in Huber Heights, Ohio, transformed her classroom into a magical, Harry Potter-themed learning space.

The hidden "9 3/4 train platform" and "The Marauder's Map" are just some of the decor in Kurtz's classroom.

Kurtz is asking for donations to provide more tools to her students, many of which are from low-income households or who suffer from learning disabilities.

"My students love to learn and are challenged with obstacles such as learning disabilities and sensory needs. With intervention supports and LOTS of encouragement, my students are successful in their learning," Kurtz wrote on her donation website.

Donations will be put towards items such as books, stress-relieving weighted blankets, special chairs, and more.

Huber Heights is approximately 10 miles northeast of Dayton.
