CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - It's time for Taste Buds, Cleveland 19 News' weekly video podcast discussing all things food!
Each week, Cleveland 19's Jen Picciano, host of Cleveland Cooks, is joined by Chef Matt Mytro of Flour in Moreland Hills and Flour Pasta Company and Chef David Kocab of The Black Pig in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood.
This episode is on the road! While the Cleveland 19 News digital studio is under construction, our show will hit the road and broadcast from different locations throughout the city.
The Market Cafe and Wine Bar will play host this week. They're one of the local restaurants which has done away with plastic straws. They also focus on locally crafted food, farm-to-fork and seafood-watch features. The Taste Buds will discuss the growing volume of grab and go gourmet options in restaurants like these.
The trio will also hear from Marguerite Stephanopoulos from Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Cleveland Heights. The church is preparing for their 61st-annual Greek Festival on the Heights. They've been preparing food for the event since May, including 74 trays of Moussaka, 46 trays of Pastitsio, and nearly 10,000 Dolmades.
