CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A project that relies on community donations is helping those who are less fortunate in and around Cleveland.
Give Box Cleveland consists of several wood boxes placed in Cleveland's neighborhoods that serve as a place for donors to store non-perishable food, toiletries, and inspirational messages.
From lip balm to toothpaste, dried pasta to canned beans, those donations are then collected by the homeless or individuals who need assistance.
The project is a collaboration designed, built, and installed by a local non-profit "Kids of the 2016."
There are currently two Give Box locations in Cleveland:
- 15605 Waterloo Road
- At George Washington Carver Elementary on East 55th Street
