Brunswick corn maze features Cleveland Indian Francisco Lindor

BRUNSWICK, OH (WOIO) - Mapleside Farms in Brunswick ramped up for its 2018 Pumpkin Village season with the unveiling of a themed corn maze, a tribute to the Cleveland Indians shortstop featuring Francisco Lindor.

"We've had an incredible string of great teams here in Cleveland over the past 3-4 years and we love the way the Cleveland Indians represent our great city, and specifically how Francisco plays the game with his whole heart and soul"  said Greg Clement, owner of Mapleside Farms.

The corn maze will open this Friday, Sept. 7. The 100 acre Pumpkin Village also features a 311 ft. superslide, a hayride, and a cow train. Visitors can jump on two giant Jump Pillows or root for your favorite swine in the Pig Races.

It is the largest corn maze ever at Mapleside Farms, which is known for creative corn maze designs including one of LeBron James and the 2016 NBA championship trophy.

"All year long we offer events,"Jsaon Kolodziej said on the eve of the Fall opening. "But in the fall is when it gets magical out here."

Every other weekend Mapleside Farms has a different theme in Pumpkin Village.

"It's really a place where families can come out and make memories together," Kolodziej said.

Festivals run every weekend through October 26 with different themes.

Maplewood Farms is located at 294 Pearl Road at 294 Pearl Road in Brunswick.
