Northeast Ohio community probes pellet-gun shootings

MASSILLON, Ohio - Police are wondering who's been taking aim at a community northwest of Canton.

Jackson Township police say that someone went on a spree with a B-B gun from Saturday through Monday, shattering windows and windshields, and about a dozen residents suffered thousands of dollars in damage.

Police Chief Harvey Neftzer suspects that it was the work of children.

Cars, single-family homes, apartments and businesses all were targeted, according to Lt. Chris Rudy, who says the shooter or shooters didn't discriminate.

Police are urging residents to come forward if they have any information.
