Browns: Joshua Cribbs Signs Extension

BEREA, Ohio (AP) - The Browns signed Joshua Cribbs to a six-year contract extension Friday.

Cribbs joined the team as an undrafted free agent and has become one of the NFL's top kickoff returners. This year he's returned five kickoffs more than 40 yards and has expanded his role as a wide receiver.

Cribbs was a star quarterback at Kent State, and hustled his way onto Cleveland's roster with his prowess on special teams. He was named the AFC's special teams player of the week last month for his performance against Oakland, which included 65 and 53-yard kickoff returns.

Cribbs says the contract extension is a dream come true and motivation for him to continue working hard.
