Cincinnati: Interstate Closed During Investigation

CINCINNATI (AP) - Interstate 71 in the Cincinnati suburb of Norwood is closed while police investigate the discovery of a device that might be capable of exploding.

Norwood police say the Ohio Department of Transportation was doing work along I-71 when workers found a container with some kind of liquid, a clock and a battery.

Traffic in both directions was shut down during the investigation, creating long lines of vehicles on that main north-south route in southwest Ohio.
