War Vigil Lights Up Downtown Cleveland

Cleveland, OH - Approximately two-hundred protesters in downtown Cleveland lit candles, spread ashes and to call attention to the growing number of U-S soldiers killed in Iraq, Monday evening.

The American death toll in Iraq has now reached three-thousand.

The vigil was one of more than 290 events planned in 46 U-S cities, according to the American Friends Service Committee, a Quaker-led social justice group.
