Man found dead after falling into water at Euclid Creek Reservation

EUCLID, Ohio (WOIO) - A man has died after falling into the water at Euclid Creek Reservation on Thursday morning.

Euclid Firefighters and Metroparks Police were called out to the scene around 10:30 a.m.

Metroparks Director of Communications Jacqueline Gerling said crews recovered the body near the water’s edge.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner later identified the man as 71-year-old Dennis Cancasci of Highland Heights.

The accident and cause of death remain under investigation.
