Victims identified in Hinckley double homicide

HINCKLEY TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) -

Authorities identified the victims in Friday's double homicide as Cindy Gesaman and Randy Szychowicz.

Police are holding 42-year-old Dean Simms in connection with the incident that happened in Medina County. It's believed he is related to the victims. 

Simms was taken into custody after Hinckley Township police responded to 2629 Babcock Road early Friday morning.

A call for the double shooting came in around 2:30 a.m. When they arrived, the victims were already dead.

According to court and property tax records, Simms is a close relative.

Police have not said how the two were killed.

Simms is being murder charge at the Medina County Jail and is expected to be arraigned on Saturday.

Hinckley Police accidentally told press Ryan Szychowicz was one of the murder victims.  The actual victim is Randy Szychowicz.
