Police investigating murder of 16-year-old

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - 16-year-old Percy Wells was murdered on Sunday night.

Police responded to the area of E. 104th St. and Miles after reports of a male shot. When they arrived, they were told that a Lincoln SUV had been taken in an aggravated robbery from E. 93rd and Miles. They followed the vehicle until it crashed on E. 100th. The suspect fled the scene.

They then learned that there were two victims of gunshot wounds, Wells and 35-year-old Marquis Andrews, who had been taken to Marymount Hospital by private car.

Wells died from multiple gunshot wounds. Andrews is recovering from a gunshot wound to the thigh.

No arrests have been made.
