Baker Mayfield will donate money from GoFundMe that was created to help pay fine

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Baker Mayfield says he will donate the proceeds raised through a GoFundMe created by a fan to help pay fines to a good cause.
The GoFundMe was initially created to help the Cleveland Browns quarterback pay a $10,000 fine for his sideline celebration against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Instead of paying the fine, Mayfield and the creator of the fundraiser announced that the money will now be donated to the Providence House, a charity that helps at-risk children and families in Northeast Ohio.
As of Wednesday morning, more than $3,280 have been raised out of the $10,000 goal.
Mayfield has a history with the Providence House. Before the holidays, the No. 1 NFL Draft pick helped raise over $40,000 for the organization.
