‘See something, say something’ nets big drug arrest for East Liverpool police

EAST LIVERPOOL, OH (WOIO) - Police in East Liverpool found cash, drug paraphernalia and packaged narcotics after acting on a number of tips from concerned citizens.
They are crediting the “see something, say something” campaign for empowering people to step up and report suspicious activity.

Police said surveillance of a house on Avondale Street revealed a known felon was inside the home with a firearm.
While making an arrest they found paraphernalia in plain view. They were able to secure a search warrant, which turned up additional drugs and cash.
According to police, at least one man has been arrested, though photos of two possible suspects were posted to Facebook.
