GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - The Garfield Heights Police Department issued a search for a missing adult on March 25.

Jerome Stanford, 56, from Garfield Heights, walked away from his home March 19 and has not been seen since, the department said.

Stanford has schizophrenia and has not been taking his medication since that time, the report said.

Stanford is 6-feet 1-inch and 270 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes, according to the Garfield Heights Police Department.

He was last seen an Ohio State University jacket and CROC style shoes.

He is known to frequent Kinsman Avenue in Cleveland.
