Cleveland Cooks: Dry January ‘mocktails’ from Verbena Free Spirited

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - For those participating in Dry January, or those who partake in any alcohol consumption, Cleveland Cooks is here with some inspiration. Verbena Free Spirited is a cafe, bar and bottle shop dedicated to non-alcoholic drinks. Owner Molly Cheraso share the recipe and products she uses for a Dirty Bianco Martini and the viral Sleepy Girl Mocktail in the latest installment of Cleveland Cooks.

-Dirty Bianco Martini

4oz Roots Divino Bianco NA Vermouth

1/4oz olive brine (or more based on preference)

2 Castelvetrano olives

Twist of lemon peel

Combine vermouth and olive brine in a shaker with ice to chill. Strain into a martini or coupe glass with 2 Castelvetrano olives. Squeeze lemon peel over glass to release the oil from the skin and garnish.

Sleepy Girl Mocktail

2oz Kin Dream Light Nightcap

2oz Tart Cherry juice

2oz Betty Buzz Lemon Lime Soda

In a glass with ice, combine ingredients and stir to combine. Garnish with lime wedge.
