19 First Alert Weather Day: Wind Advisory issued for Thursday; rain likely

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The 19 First Alert Weather Team has issued a 19 First Alert Weather Day for Thursday.

While there will be rain in the area, our biggest issue will be the wind.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for many hometowns.

Winds may gust upwards of 50 mph tomorrow.

The strongest winds will be from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sporadic power outages may occur.

Regarding precipitation, a brief wintry mix will occur early Thursday morning, but this won’t amount to much more than nuisance precipitation.

As temperatures warm into the 40s tomorrow, any lingering wintry mix will change to all-rain.

Colder air will arrive on the backside of this system, and light lake effect snow will develop on Thursday evening.
