Man dies after drowning at Edgewater: Cleveland EMS

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A man in his 20s died Sunday in Edgewater after drowning, according to Cleveland EMS.

The USCG said the person went underwater and did not resurface around 7 p.m.

Several Cleveland agencies and the USCG were all on scene and located the victim around 7:40 p.m.

The victim was unresponsive.

Cleveland agencies and divers were able to recover the body around 8:40 p.m.
