Bicyclist struck, killed on Cleveland’s West Side

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A bicyclist was struck and killed on the city’s West side Wednesday morning.

The accident happened around 9:15 a.m. in the area of W. 114th Street and Franklin Avenue.

Cleveland police said the bicyclist was struck by a truck driver and pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 36-year-old Christian Carter.
