Mahoning Valley man charged for advertising minor for sex on escort websites

MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A Mahoning Valley man was indicted on charges of rape and human trafficking Thursday after an investigation by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force found he was advertising a minor for sex on multiple escort websites.

According to a release from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, 24-year-old Nicholas Yansin Felder was indicted in the Mahoning County Common Please Court for the following felony charges:

• One count of rape
• One count of trafficking in person
• Two counts of compelling prostitution
• One count of commercial exploitation of a minor
• Three counts of corrupting another with drugs.

Felder was also charged with one misdemeanor count of assault, according to the release.

Felder is currently incarcerated on unrelated weapons charges, according to the release.

The release said Felder would organize meetups between the minor victim and adult males where he would facilitate forced sex and then keep the proceeds.

The indictment also alleges that Felder raped the victim after providing narcotics, according to the release.
