Browns place G Wyatt Teller on injured reserve
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Cleveland Browns have placed RG Wyatt Teller on injured reserve with a knee injury, meaning he will miss at least four games.
Teller injured his knee in the third quarter of the Browns 21-15 loss to the New York Giants, and on Monday Head Coach Kevin Stefanski said Teller would miss, “multiple weeks.”
The three-time Pro Bowl selection is the latest injury to the Browns offensive line. Jedrick Wills Jr. (knee), James Hudson III (shoulder) and Dawand Jones (knee) all are dealing with injuries.
Wills is not expected to practice on Wednesday, but Jones and Hudson will practice according to Stefanski.
Another injury to watch is defensive end Myles Garrett, who is dealing with injuries to his feet, achilles and thigh. Stefanski said he does not see Garrett being ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Raiders and that he is, “determined to continue to play.”
Other roster moves on Wednesday:
- Signed T Germain Ifedi to the active roster.
- Signed T Sebastian Gutierrez, T Ricky Lee III and DE Elerson Smith to the practice squad.
- Released LB Luiji Vilain from the practice squad.
