CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Cleveland Metroparks, and LAND studio, announced that it received $10.8 million from the National Park Service’s Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership (ORLP) Program has been awarded for the development of the future Irishtown Bend Park.

The Port of Cleveland is currently doing a $65 million stabilization project on the hillside that will be finished in 2025.

The hillside will provide an opportunity to create a 25-acre public waterfront park connecting Cleveland residents and visitors to more than 125 miles of regional trails and greenspaces, including connections to the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie, according to the Cleveland Metroparks.
