Infant dies, 2 in critical condition after Bedford house fire
BEDFORD, Ohio (WOIO) - Bedford firefighters responded to a deadly fire Thursday night.
Firefighters responded to a house fire on Forbes Road around 10:06 p.m. where two individuals were trapped inside the house.
Bedford Fire Lt. Brian Harding said a 7-year-old escaped the fire and alerted neighbors.
Harding said that after an “aggressive offensive attack” through the front door, firefighters located a 2-month-old infant and an adult both unresponsive.
The infant, later identified as Jovohn Harris, was pronounced dead on the scene and the child and adult were taken to the hospital in critical condition
The adult taken to the hospital was confirmed as a relative of the two children.

19 News crews on the scene reported multiple surrounding fire departments responded to provide mutual aid.
