Sandusky woman, 28, killed in crash with semi truck in Huron County, troopers say

LYME TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - A 28-year-old woman is dead after Ohio troopers say she was involved in a crash with a semi truck.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the victim has been identified as Myeicia Amison from Sandusky.
The crash happened around 3:44 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of State Route 4 and State Route 113 in Lyme Township.
According to the highway patrol, a 68-year-old Akron man was operating a semi truck on SR 113.
Troopers say Amison was driving southbound on SR 4 when she failed to stop at a red light, and she was struck.
The Akron man was not hurt in the crash.
The collision remains under investigation, and troopers say impairment is not a suspected factor.
