76-year-old woman hit by vehicle in downtown Chagrin Falls

CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio (WOIO) - A 76-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle in downtown Chagrin Falls over the weekend.
According to the Chagrin Falls Police Department (CFPD), the accident happened in a crosswalk on the double-digit block of North Main Street just before 1 p.m. Saturday.
The CFPD said a 54-year-old driver struck the woman but no charges have been filed.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital but there is no word on her condition.
The Valley Enforcement Group Accident Investigation Unit is investigating and charges could be forthcoming based on their investigation.
