Monsters win game 3 at Laval, stay alive in series

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Facing huge odds, the Cleveland Monsters got a big road win Sunday, beating the Laval Rocket 3-1 in game 3 to stay alive in the best-of-five series.

Dylan Gambrell scored 2 goals for Cleveland.

Roman Ahcan added a shorthanded score in the third.

Cleveland goalie Jet Greaves made 37 saves.

Laval still leads the AHL playoff series 2-1.

Game 4 is Tuesday at Laval (7 p.m.).
