2 die in Tuscarawas County motorcycle crash

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A man and a woman were killed when the motorcycle they were on slid off the road.

The accident happened at 8:11 p.m. Sunday on US Route 250 in Goshen Township.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Troopers said the motorcycle was pulling a camper trailer when the trailer began to sway and the operator lost control.

The passenger, Jill Morris, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The operator, Keith Morris, 47, was first transported to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital and then taken by medical helicopter to Akron General Hospital.

Troopers said Keith was pronounced dead at Akron General Hospital.

Neither person was wearing a helmet, according to troopers.
